This month we are featuring Moda's Poetry Collection and Faded Memories

We will be receiving the quilters calculator. For those of you that don't know about these they are what every quilter needs. With a few dimensions you can find the fabric yardage you will need to finish any size quilt. Look for it at our booth for quilting on the green.

Bernina foot # 39: Clear Embroidery Foot. We like to use this foot for applique because you can see through the foot, you can see what you are stitching.

All seam allowances are ¼" unless otherwise noted.

Hem the long side of one bottom piece, and each 24" side of the body piece.

Mark the middle point on both unfinished ends of the body, and the middle of the long edges of the second bottom piece.

Starting at middle marks on bottom and body, pin body to bottom. (The body will be bigger than the bottom piece.) Sew along the length of the bottom piece.

Fold over the sides of the body and pin them to the bottom pieces. The two bottom pieces will be right sides together, with the body in between. (Make sure to place the body so that when you turn them right sides out they will be facing the right way. )

Sew down each side of the bottom pieces.

Pin the remaining edges of the body over onto the front of the bottom pieces. They will not come together. Sew the remaining length of the bottom closed.

Sew the curved part of the top two pieces together, making sure that your centers match. Button Hole stitch around the very center at the top.

Zig-zag stitch the unfinished edge of the top pieces. Mark the center on each side of the straight edge.

Pin the top to the body and sew around the straight edge. You will have to pin-tuck the front of the body for it to fit the top.

Your diaper stacker is finished!
